The Grezzano Pian delle Rose garden is being created where Vincenzo previously had a nursery of herbaceous perennials. After years dedicated to their selection and production, the need arose to create an experimental garden, where the needs of the plants are studied, their adaptability to our climates and, of each plant, the main aesthetic characteristics and possible combinations with other plants are identified based on their structure, shape and colour.
The garden is structurally divided into rooms in each of which plants with different soil and climate requirements, exposure to sunlight and water needs are placed.
The first gardens under construction are the maple garden and the Santa Teresina garden.
The website www.erbaceeperenni.it (under construction) will describe the particularities of the plants in the garden and the simplicity/difficulty of cultivation.
